In this video we see 66147 working the 6G05 empties from Swansea Burrows to Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen. However it had been diverted over the soon to be demolished Loughor Bridge, so this may be the last opportunity to record a freight crossing this old structure. As we wait the arrival of the train, we see some local services from West Wales pass over the bridge. We then see the train at Llandilo Jnc where after a run round, it departs up towards Pantyffynnon and on to the GCG Branch. Also worth a note is that last Friday the 8th July, the jib on the crane positioned on the South of the Bridge made contact with the live overhead Electrical wires resulting in the loss of electricity to a large local area. Unfortunately this has caused expensive delays to the project whilst the HSE investigate the incident.
