Connecting the stock market to Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency, inflation and how it effects valuations of assets and a currency are very important. I look at inflation to get an idea of where global asset prices are going and it can be a very useful tool to gauge the health and direction of the economy. Having studied this for a long time, I heard an ad on Bitcoin the other day and it was claiming that Bitcoin doesn’t have inflation. Although that may be technically true if you viewed the currency on its own and not used to purchase anything, given its new role in the global monetary system, that is just not the case. I go over the various types of inflation and how this relates to bitcoin and crypto, which leads me to the conclusion that overall, bitcoin having no inflation is just a myth or is only true at the surface, but not economically speaking in the real world.
