Former Sycamore teacher charged with sexual battery waives court appearance

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A former teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student waived her court appearance on Nov. 2. Jennifer Walsh faces two counts of sexual battery.

Walsh resigned from Sycamore High School about two weeks ago. She was a special education teacher at Sycamore for the past three years. She also coached junior varsity ladies lacrosse.

According to the indictment, Walsh engaged in sexual conduct with a minor from May through August. The indictment was handed down on Oct. 29.

Walsh is out on one thousand dollar bond. Her next court appearance is set for November 16.
