We begin this video with Musashi making it to the furthest point in the Eastern Empire and see what that Magnetic Shot was guarding. Turns out to be...a particle accelerator crossed with a revolving sushi bar. I dunno, it seems absolutely ludicrous, but I find it so seamless, it's hilarious. You can even see the sushi being accelerated to light speed!

Of course, Musashi soon gets in trouble, and she'll have to deal with Chief Relish.

RELISH
Bakuzo (Autoshoot Shutdown)
Snowzo (Skill Severence)
Pyonten (Fruits Paradise)

Okay. This time, I don't know how these Sushi Sprites synergize with each other. I'm sure they do, as everyone else Musashi has fought in this region has had synergistic Sushi Sprites. On the other hand, this man has 36,400 HP, the highest we've seen yet. Really, despite the massive HP advantage he has, Chief Relish was not all that hard to beat.

Of course, he's really only here because every node on the map needs a fight, and the Sushimancer in this area takes off with the Ultimate Lane-Drive Gear elsewhere. Even Sushimancers make mistakes though, and he accidentally leaves Musashi with a bunch of plans for what the Empire REALLY wanted to do: to build an artificial sushi gate! That is, the Empire wants access to the realm either where Sushi Sprites come from or where sushi comes from--the game never makes it clear if it's the same thing, nor do they make it clear if Octavius wound up in the same realm as Musashi's mother.

Musashi finds herself at another dead end, meaning she'll have to turn to Archie to see if he knows where Musashi should go, and sure enough, he suggests the Remote Island to the southeast. Here is Area 10, the last region on the map. Upon getting there, Musashi will have to fight, unsurprisingly, the Sushimancer. He was the one who stole the Ultimate Lane-Drive Gear from the enginee, the one Musashi encountered at the accelerator, and now, with nowhere else to go, he will have to confront Musashi. He will not go down easily, however, as he is one of the strongest Sushimancers. This is Chief Eldritch, the Special Projects Boss.

ELDRITCH
Kumaten (Double Shot)
Cryten (Stealth Striker)
Dollkan (Skill Hunter)

There isn't any synergy here, but this team has no glaring weaknesses, and they're all simple to use. Kumaten is the offense-based Sushi Sprite, Cryten is the defense one, and Dollkan is the disruptive one, and he can use these three to adapt to whatever lineup Musashi throws at him. Defeating him means this project of the Empire has been truly shut down and Musashi gets that Ultimate Gear, and the only thing that lies between here and the end of the story is what lies beyond that gate...

No, Musashi doesn't go in. The significance is who comes out of it.

You see, Archie, being the super-genius that he is, has personally traveled over to this island. By observing it, he not only figures out what the Artificial Sushi Gate is for, but what went wrong with it: Sushi rice is just too sticky, and when you accelerate sushi to near light speeds, that rice is all going to clump together! That means the warp won't take people to realms related to Sushi Sprites or the source of all sushi, but it will create a portal to parallel worlds. And out will come a super-strong parallel version of an existing Striker, which, as it seems, is from the world where that person wound up being the top Striker. Here is fighter #1. You've seen this guy before.

MASA
Kumaten (Double Shot)
Cryten (Stealth Striker)
Dragokan (Runaway Lanes)

You should look at Masa's stats. This isn't the disgraced man Musashi fought way back at the Western Empire region, the one who could be defeated with Musashi in her Level 30s and with an unawakened Jinrai. This Masa has Sushi Sprites with maxed out skills, at the maximum level of Level 50, and, most imposingly, a whopping 45,000 HP. His Favorite Sushi is Sea Urchin, whose Raw Power, Fol-Ace, increases the duration of timed skills by 18%. Musashi is at a level disadvantage of about 18 levels, and she is also at about half as much HP as Masa. And mostly unleveled Sushi Sprites.

Nevertheless, you can't just give up here, and I managed to pull off a win. That was something. By the way, when Archie talks about a different dimension each day, that means, gameplay-wise, there are 31 opponents, and this is dependent on the day of the month when you play it. I happened to play this on the 1st of October, so I got Dimension #1, which yielded Masa. You could potentially get Kodiak, Kojiro, Rio, Celia, Octavius, or any of the other named fighters. Most are the unique characters, but a few are non-unique, and someone even somehow got s Magnetic Shot cannon through. With 45,000 HP.

The story for Sushi Striker is done! But I still have 6 more Sushi Sprites to pledge with. We get 3 of them down with the next video.
