FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WKRC) - Attorneys for a Fairfield woman accused of killing her boyfriend want doctors to evaluate whether she's competent to stand trial.

Stephanie Gabbard was charged with murder earlier in September after David Mitchell was found dead at their apartment on Eastgate Drive.

Police say Gabbard had been stabbed to death.
