2-year-old Hixson TN boy may have been strangled by drapery cords

Hamilton County Sheriff's detectives are looking into the death of a 2-year-old boy in Hixson. We're told the incident occurred at Wyndsor Drive around 2 p.m. Thursday. Sources say it appears the child got tangled in drapery cords and was strangled. CPR was being performed on the boy when deputies arrived. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The case remains under investigation.
