GREENHILLS, Ohio (WKRC) - Greenhills Police are searching for the two men in a car who allegedly tried to abduct an 11-year-old boy riding his bike in Greenhills.

The boy told police he was riding on Beckford Drive at about 4:15 p.m. on Monday, when an older model blue Pontiac Vibe came down the street from Burley Drive and pulled up next to him.

Police say the passenger said to him, "Come on, come on, get in the car". The driver reportedly said "Yeah, yeah". Police say neither got out of the car or tried to grab the boy.

The boy took off on his bike and knocked on a neighbor's door, who didn't answer. He then flagged down another neighbor who told him to go home and tell his parents. That neighbor then drove around and looked for the car but it was gone. Police also searched the area and canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses.

The boy told police the driver was a light-skinned black or Hispanic man with a fade-type haircut with curly hair on top. The passenger was a dark-skinned black man wearing a black hoodie and a black do-rag. He thought both were in their twenties.

The picture of the four door hatchback Vibe is not the actual car.

If anyone sees a similar vehicle in the area with suspects matching the description, they're asked to get the license plate number and call 911, Greenhills Police at 825-2101, or Crimestoppers at 352-3040.
