A Chattanooga lawyer has been suspended for a year. Jesse Walker Dalton III will lose his law license for violating rules of professional conduct. The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility says it received multiple complaints about Dalton, including that he appeared late for court, missed client meetings, and failed to return phone calls in a timely manner. Other complaints allege that Dalton appeared in the office looking disheveled, with slurred speech, and glazed eyes - and fell asleep during client meetings. He also failed to deposit cash he received, into a trust account.
