With the price of oil dropping below $47 a barrel today, a lot of people are wondering if now is a good time to buy oil. I go over my thoughts on the oil market, and how I am going about trading it, as the move and price level of oil currently has big implications for other markets and specific companies. Beyond that though, I discuss how the current moves in oil is looking like we are entering the 2018-2019 oil crisis or oil glut which is a result from the first 2014 oil crisis/glut. I compare this to the first 1973 and 1979 oil crisis, and resulting 1980 supply glut, that parallels exactly what our oil markets are going through today. Thought this was a good history lesson, and bonus on where the next bubble is for those who paid attention!
