CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Maslow's Army is back at Fountain Square once again. The non-profit organization had spent every Sunday for the last year and a half on the square handing out food and clothing to the homeless. However, last month, the company that manages events on Fountain Square, 3CDC, denied Maslow Army's summer permits, claiming that the square was booked. After a meeting, 3CDC granted a free permit for three Sundays this month. Maslow Army's co-founder, Susan Landis, said Fountain Square is home. "It's a very accessible location to those that we serve," she said. "Typically they're already here, sitting at the tables anyway and the fact that we originally started here. Really it's home to us and I mean, they love it here and I'm just really grateful to be back here." 3CDC said it will help Maslow's Army find a permanent spot.
