A downtown Chattanooga apartment complex has been sold for about $15 million dollars. It’s reportedly the most ever paid per unit for such a property in Chattanooga. The 100-unit Walnut Commons opened last year after $11 million dollars in construction. It was the largest apartment complex to go up downtown in more than a generation. Walnut Commons is being purchased by America First Real Estate - which is based in Nebraska.
