East African MPs praise Uganda's refugee policy

East African Legislative Assembly legislators have hailed Uganda for its inclusive and open door policy to hosting refugees in the region. The regional lawmakers were debating a report from the committee on regional affairs and conflict resolution after visiting refugee settlements in Uganda. The legislators also want refugees who have overstayed in Uganda to granted citizenship in Uganda.
