Sam Jameson, local woman who received double lung transplant, has passed away

MANCHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) - A local woman who Local 12 followed as she underwent a double lung transplant has passed away.

Sam Jameson had cystic fibrosis and went through the transplant in 2015. Following that, she got engaged and married the love of her life, Ty Jameson. 

Ty posted to their Facebook page Wednesday night that Sam was moving into a hospice facility to pass away peacefully after recent struggles, including being put on a ventilator, a bout of pneumonia and cancer. But Sam has also lived life to the fullest too, trying things like zip-lining.
