Vipers Sports Club head coach Javier Martinez Espinoza is confident his side can mix it with the big boys on the continent.

The Venoms face Sudanese giants Al Merrikh in the preliminary round of the 2018/2019 Caf Champions League. 

The Sudanese outfit hosts the first leg of the tie during the last weekend of this month.

The reverse fixture shall then take centre-stage in the first weekend of December.

Espinoza was speaking after becoming the first recipient of the Pilsner coach of the month accolade.

The Mexican was feted for his accomplishments in October.
