Chattanooga Volkswagen plant may unionize

First of all, Volkswagen's Chattanooga plant is in talks with a union. VW says it's been in talks with United Auto Workers about setting up a German-style labor board at the plant. If it does, it would become the first auto factory in the U.S. to create a European-style works council to represent employees in talks about pay, benefits and conditions. Formal talks with a union could begin as soon as this summer.
