A YouTube FIRST happened on this day (6/2/10), one year ago, in this exact same location: The Birth of the Man-Powered Elevator Video. These MPE's, learned they were Dovers, started a "revolution" (mild interest) in the Elevtor Community, as NEXPAR was the next to create MPE videos. He (NEXPAR) raised the bar, by adding sound effects on the journeys. I loved the idea, and followed him on that concept. The modern-day MPE video was born. Join us, as we celebrate 1 year of MPE videos, by riding the first ever ones uploaded in YouTube History: Two Dover Bottom-Drive Traction MPE's. The first having the "1B" landing, and the second being scenic. The smooth operation, and silent motors, make these Dovers one of the best sets of MPE's ever ridden (even if I did get stuck in the scenic one awhile ago).
