The Freedom from Religion Foundation is demanding an end to prayer meetings at a local elementary school. Teachers, parents, students and church members have been meeting monthly at Hardy Elementary to pray for the children there. The foundation sent a letter to Hamilton County Schools, saying the prayer meetings offer an endorsement of a particular religion and raise constitutional concerns. Principal Annetta Ferguson says the prayer walk is after school and is optional. Hamilton County Schools says it's looking into the matter.
