A Dalton Georgia man has been charged with aggravated assault on a police officer. Officers say 49-year-old Ben Broaddus sped through a red light and almost hit a patrol car. And after he was pulled over, he reportedly refused to take a sobriety test and rolled up his window. That’s when Officer Matias Castillo smashed his passenger window and Broaddus drove away, almost hitting two other officers. Police chased him until he came to a stop at the Whitfield County Sheriff’s office. He remains in jail on a 35 hundred dollar bond.
