Fire chief wants residents to help paint fire hydrants

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - There are about 3,200 fire hydrants in Green Township and the fire chief wants help repainting them.

Fire Chief Scott Souders painted the fire hydrant on his street and is hoping residents will want to improve the look of the hydrants in their neighborhoods.

The fire department has the supplies and the instructions on how to do the job properly.

The project could serve as service hours for students.
