HD UPCONVERTED VIDEO (720x480 MPEG). Reduced artifacts in HD. ======================================= This is the annual Haunting of Barrett Park event, Leominster, Massachusetts. PROS: GREAT sets, EXCELLENT acting, and costumes/makeup. This CITY-RUN event, with some volunteers and sponsorship deals, can run with the big guys on quality. In the video, you can easily see that, as a group bailed out near the end, because the kids got too frightened to continue. :) Testament of quality there! (Note the last Chainsaw Guy didn't play to the camera. He pointed my way and said: "That ain't no fun!", then left. Some actors failed to note my presence, as I was in the back, capturing video. I do get shots of those who were not aware.) CONS: High price ($10/person) for a short 5 to 10 minute walk-through (depending on speed of your group). For a short thrill, you best get here early, as the lines get long, and the wow-factor gets GREATLY diminished. The overall value goes up, if you're early. The event was sponsored by a few large companies, so there's some new sets, but they could add more. What's here, is very well done. There needs to be more for the $10. There's professional places that charge about the same, and there's a lot more. They could easilly add some demons, zombies, behind the trees at the end. This definately would add to the ending. OVERALL: It's good. If you're willing to shell out the money, come early.
