Reloved Guitars Oakcaster #21 travel guitar (part build)

This video shows me completing the build of my Oakcaster #21 - the last in the current series of Oakcaster travel guitars. I'd made this body (oak and burl yew) over a year ago but had parked it in the shed with a view to finishing it at a later point. I'd bought a Chinese paddle neck about 6 months ago which I was going to - eventually - fit to Oakcaster #21 and finish the job. Dave part-ex'd a CIJ Fender Telecaster that needed a full re-fret. He wasn't particularly attached to the Tele and was interested in a Reloved Guitar. We agreed that I'd complete Oakcaster with a pair of humbuckers to his choice which is what I"m doing here in this video. The process shows me up-cycling an inexpensive Chinese-made rosewood paddle neck. These are not great quality 'as-bought' but you can see here that with a re-shape, re-fret and re-finish these end up being very nice to play. I then fit the neck to the guitar and position the bridge. Once that's done I fit the pickups and the electrics and wire the guitar up.
