Commercial Banks are keeping true to the latest shift in the Central Bank Rate up from 9% to 10%, in what the sector regulator points to inflation being on an upward trajectory. Market leader, Stanbic Bank has led the pack, now announcing that its prime lending rate moves upwards as well from 17% to 18% with immediate effect. Private sector reactions have equally been swift, with some players, arguing that the surge in the foreign exchange levels against the shilling as well as pump prices will be factored in production costs. #NTVNews Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Like our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/NTVUganda
