Hi everyone, this is Katy and in this video, I restate my boundaries about money with emphasis. Lately, a lot of people have been trying to push donations on us, despite knowing that we do not accept them, and someone even tried to fundraise for us behind our back. We've made this video to try to get through to those who are doing this so that hopefully their inappropriate behavior will stop. 

Some potentially triggering topics mentioned include: background noise, struggling to calm myself, not accepting donations in order to preserve other people's senses of my credibility, being in poverty, comments from people demanding that I accept donations, boundaries, introspection, blocking people online, a video someone made to raise funds for me against my will (incl. a suggestion that people physically find me and force money into my hands), survivors with DID (incl. Mk survivors) who may have issues remembering my boundaries, improving inner communication with dissociative parts, privilege around mental health/trauma issues, our Mk Survivor FAQ series

I'd like to note that I repeated myself a few times in this video because I was very triggered. I apologize if this triggers anyone else.

I'd also like to note that at 5:38, when I said, "I don't think that anybody who I have understood to be a survivor, with the exception of one person, has pushed money on me and the one person who has, I don't think they necessarily knew that that was not okay," I was talking about survivors with DID/of Mk like I had mentioned just a few moments before. 

I want to make sure I clarify this because I know that everyone who watches my videos is a survivor of some kind of trauma and the person who made the video trying to raise funds for me actually talks a lot about being targeted on his channel. Because he, however, said that he has not experienced it on the level that I have and, as far as I know, does not have DID nor is a survivor of the kind of multi-generational ritual abuse and mind control family that I am, I wasn't thinking of him when I used the word "survivor" in that context. 

That doesn't mean that he is not an Mk survivor, though, and I want to be clear that I meant no disrespect to him or anyone else by saying what I said. Just because people have violated my boundaries, does not mean that I lack respect for them as fellow survivors of trauma. I do not want to portray anyone in an inaccurate way.
