This is the East Thyssen Man-Powered Elevator, at the front door of the Professional Office Building, Leominster Hospital, Leominster, Massachusetts. Similar to the West MPE, it's a replacement of the original Dover MPE, when the building was only 2 stories tall, as well as the odd notion of being a Bottom-Drive installed in 1999/2000. This one isn't as good as the West one, as it runs louder, and has very jarring leveling problems, or "Banjo", in slang terms. Similar union between old and new levels, but this has roof access, even though signage says there is none. Doesn't explain the ladder and roof hatch too well, does it? :)
