Gang member accused of raping woman in College Hill Courts

A 23-year-old Athens Park Blood gang member is accused of raping a woman in College Hill Courts. The woman told police she was visiting the Westside projects Saturday when Rodney Lomnick cornered her inside her friend's house. After the attack, Lomnick reportedly cried, apologized, and asked her not to call the police. When questioned, he told police the woman had made the accusations up, and then admitted to the incident.
