Home in Oakley catches fire

OAKLEY, Ohio (WKRC) - A fire was reported in a single family home in Oakley on Minot Avenue at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Cincinnati Emergency Communication Center received calls from many residents stating that there was smoke and fire coming from the house. It took fire crews approximately 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.

The homeowner was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two other people were in the home when the fire began but got out safely.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. No other injuries occurred.
