Dr. Kate Getao appointed CEO of ICT Authority

Dr. Kate Getao has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Authority. Getao takes over from John Sergon who is retiring from the position has held in an acting capacity since March this year. Getao was instrumental in the formation of the Authority in 2013 when she offered expert advice in the merging of three government ICT agencies to form the authority.
