The Cavalier King Charles had painful eyes after going to a groomer for de-ticking. This dog now has dry eyes, with sticky mucus stuck inside the eyes and red sclera for the past 3 weeks. Dry eyes are due to damage to the tear producing glands by the insecticide by the groomer, without eye protection.
