Yesterday, Apr 7, 2016, the young poodle came as his recovery from blood tests and treatment by Vet 1 on Mar 23 and 30, 2016 was elusive. The son had brought the dog to see their own vet near the apartment.

Instead of going for a review another 2 weeks later, the father brought the dog to see me as he had consulted me previously, owing to proximity.

The dog had pale gums and tongue but no fever and no known tick bites or ticks.

Evidence of tick fever. The Cani V-4 test showed negative for Ehrlichia canis, Anaplasma, Lyme Disease and Heartworm. The peripheral blood smear showed Babesia. This smear will be in another video and is evidence of tick fever in this dog.

April 12, 2016. The father brought the dog to Toa Payoh Vets to show me that the dog is now recovered but I was at Queen's Vets treating a Maltese with skin disease. I am glad that the dog has recovered after the anti-tick Imizol injection 0.2ml SC. .
