To make this card, I used a piece of 10" x 7" cardstock in turquoise that is a Stampin' Up color of paper called Taken with Teal and a white piece of paper that is 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" with an oval cut into it. I used a Creative Memories template and cutting system but you could use dies or trace something and cut it out with that.

The stamps you will need will be a fish or any kind of sealife and then I used coral and sea grass or seaweed, but you could use any grass type stamp or even free hand the grass. I can't remember where I got my stamps (that's embarrassing.) so suggest you look on ebay for coral rubber stamp and found them for under $5 including shipping. Fish stamps are really popular now. Stampin' Up has an underwater set that the Frugal Crafter just showed called "By The Tide" and here's what it looks like. http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=129120 If you don't have a Stampin Up representative, my friend and YouTube mentor, Linda Bauwin, would be glad to help you. Here's her email to order. [email protected]

I used Stampin' Up markers that are water based markers. Pumplin Pie, Gumball Green, Rose Red, Handsome Hunter and Taken with Teal. You could use a coral color, a light turquoise color, a light green, a dark green and a pinkish red color of any marker brand to replicate my look. I stamped Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday in Taken with Teal as well. I used a Ranger Archival Black Ink for my fish and colored it with a Daffodil Delight and black markers. I had little bubbles on a stamp and stamped them above two of my fish and used some of the stamps on the outside of the card, inside it to surround the fish. I used tear tape to put one strip on the bottom of the inside of the white piece below the oval and one strip above the oval and one on each side. I place about 1-2 TBSP of gel inside my plastic bag and sealed it with the "Smart Sealer" that was sold on TV. It sealed the bag really well then I used tape to cover the seal to ensure it would not open. You can buy two Smart Sealers from HSN which is where I bought mine for $24.95,and Amazon sells one of them for $16.99 that is rechargeable and $15.99 and sells a similar product called the ISealer for $15.99 for two. Walmart also sells it.for the same price. I'm not sure if it works as well as the Smart Sealer, but I like mine and it works great for sealing potato chip bags, noodle bags, etc.

I placed the baggie on the tear tapes and put another line of tear tape near the bottom and two sides of my white cardstock and closed the white card with the gel pack inside. I used tear tape on the back of the white cardstock and adhered it to the Taken with Teal paper.

You will need a plastic bag that can be well sealed. A Ziploc bag (if it has no writing on it) would work.) Make sure you find one that fits in the spot and that you can put tape on the closure to ensure it doesn't open in the mail.
