About a dozen family and friends sat inside the courtroom Friday as a show of support to the young man they say has been demonized by the District Attorney and the media. They say he is innocent. Defense attorneys say Knapp and Everett cooperated with authorities, a point which prosecutors took exception to. Prosecutors also argued that Dakota showed signs of bruising that occurred more than a month ago, a point Quinn asked Knapp's cousin about following the hearing. "All I'm gonna say this and this is all I'm gonna say, Dakota was a fun-loving girl. I was around her, there was no abuse. I don't care what anyone says. that's all I got to say," the woman said.
