MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The Mobile County Probate Court's election division is helping get folks prepared for the upcoming elections.It's offering citizens the chance to test and inspect the machines that will count the public's vote.Beginning Friday, voters can check out the demonstration ballot counter at the Government Center Annex.These are the electronic machines that we have adopted several years back and they'll be at all the polling centers for the city of mobile as well as ones we conduct from a county-wide basis, said Joe Mcearchen, Chief Clerk at Probate Court.Anyone interested in seeing a demonstration of the voting maching and how it operates can go through the Government Center Annex Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until September 23.
