Never enough time to get all the jobs done! We have had a few snapped branmches due to weight of fruit, the only consolation is that if I hadn't done fruit thinning and also supported as many heavy branches as I have, it would have been much worse. If a branch snaps partially, judicious support and splinting may save the crop, wlthough th ebranch will bneed to be pruned out this winter.
