A rollicking rendition of the Otis Redding composition 'I got the will' by Dave Edmunds. Found on Dave's 1994 set 'Plugged In', the original goes back to 1970. The cover has a country rock and roll take thanks to the clanging guitars and Edmunds' gritty vocal , as a contrast to the r&b feel of the Otis Redding version. I love discovering new and old recordings; especially when they are integral to the genres of yesteryear. Rhythm and Blues old school!
