MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) ‚" Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson said the state of the city is strong and will only get stronger at the State of the City County Luncheon Wednesday. Stimpson said the city launched a new community wide plan to look at growth in the city. It's called Map of Mobile: Framework for Growth and it includes workshops to get your input as citizens of the Port City. 
 
Stimpson said, "I'm asking you to put on your running shoes and join the race. Don't wait to organize your neighborhood, to expand your business, or to promote our city. Continue praying for good government start running."

Mayor Stimpson laid out goals for the Port City at the luncheon. 
One is to improve the efficiency of city government
