Image Comics picked up Rob Guillory's new title, Farmhand and I can see why. With the driving force behind the title being family, and how relationships can become strained, or rekindled, the setting of a farm filled with horrors just screams fun. The art is stylized, but any fans of his other work (Chew) will immediately recognize his character designs and it lends itself to the story being told. Rob is also pretty handy with the pen, writing the dialogue and bringing characters like Ezekiel and Jedediah to life. While it might not be for everyone, Farmhand #1 looks like a weird and fun trip into the world of indie comics, which is something we all might be looking for.
