MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Gas prices continue to fall in the United States with the current national average of regular-grade fuel at $2.15 that is over a dollar cheaper compared to this time last year when gas was averaged at $3.31. According to Triple As Fuel Gauge Report, the average price for a gallon on regular-grade fuel in the Port City is $1.96, six cents cheaper than Alabamas average at $2.00 As of 1 p.m. Saturday, the Exxon at the intersection of Cottage Hill Road and Dawes Road is the cheapest in the city with regular-grade gas priced at $1.76 a gallon, according to MobileGasPrices.com.
