5 years ago this week I posted a clip of the single version of Boney M's debut hit single downunder: 'Daddy Cool'. Now in January of 2017, I am nostalgic still to post clips for songs that are now 40 years young! This extended version of Boney M's classic hit sounds just as energetic and slick as it did 40 years ago! Australia certainly loved their 'Daddy' and the numerous hits that followed; with the biggest being 'Rivers of Babylon' and 'Rasputin' the following year. 'Daddy Cool' was a big hit in early 1977; reaching #5 nationally.
