Subscribe Today! ► http://youtube.com/c/smartdrivetest The duty status lines in both the American & Canadian log books are the same. Watch the video! There are 4 duty status lines on the log sheet: 1) off duty 2) sleeper birth 3) driving 4) on duty, not driving A CDL driver must account for all activities in a 24-hour period. And the sleeper birth duty status line can only be used if the vehicle that you are operating is equipped with a sleeper birth unit. Lines #3 (driving) & #4 (on duty, not driving) are used to calculate a driver's total hours worked in a work cycle. Both Canada & the United States have two work cycles. **************** MONETARILY SUPPORTING THE CHANNEL: If you wish to support the channel monetarily, you can donate via PayPal here: https://www.paypal.me/smartdrivetest This is appreciated and helps the channel, but please don't feel that it is necessary to be part of the smarter driver community. ****************
