MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) A local woman survived being hit by a train.It happened Wednesday morning just after 12:30 in Mount Vernon near the ThyssenKrupp plant.The unidentified victim, in her early 30s, was transported to a hospital via life flight.A Washington County Sheriff's deputy told Local 15 News it appears the victim has broken bones and contusions, but is expected to survive.
