Hiawayi Robinson's death rocked our entire community and is now gaining national attention. Alabama Senator Vivian Figures spoke on HLN Tuesday night about the community's frustration over an AMBER Alert not getting sent out when authorities learned the 8-year-old disappeared.

"An 8-year-old doesn't hail a cab and say 'I'm going to lunch, my cousin isn't home.' Any time an 8-year-old child disappears, it's a suspected abduction," said Jane Valez-Mitchell, HLN host.
