Man Shot and Killed in KFC Parking Lot

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) One man is dead after a violent shooting at the KFC in Tillmans Corner. It all happened Friday afternoon around 1 p.m. Police said the victim was shot in the head in broad day light. This is obviously a very active scene. We have our investigation right now. said MPD Spokesperson Ashley Rains. Police responded to the kfc restaruant in Tillman's corner at approximately 1 this afternoon for a report of one shot. Remnants of an emergency medical kit were scattered in front of what is believed to be the victims vehicle. Witnesses tried to stabilize the man who was shot in the head. Weve had a homicide earlier today, said Rains. We've also just responded to the shooting. Its been a very busy day. Police stated the alleged shooter pulled the trigger in the parking lot of KFC. Witnesses tell Local 15 News that the alleged shooter was calm and remained on the phone until police arrived. Rains said, We do have a male suspect detained in custody. Witnesses said there was some sort of argument between the victim and suspect. Thats what we understand right now is that there was some altercation between the suspect and the victim about what is unknown, said Rains. Police are still working to find a motive.
