Pilot Survives Plane Crash

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board investigators are set to begin their probes into the plane crash near the McDuffie Coal Terminal Thursday night.

The Mobile County Health Department pilot was on a planned mission to spray for mosquitoes in the area of Battleship Memorial Park prior to Friday evening's July 4th celebration, the department said in a news release.

Emergency responders reported the Cessna 336 pilot had injuries that were not life-threatening injuries.
