MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The Archdiocese of Mobile is observing Good Friday by re-living the Christian significance of the day. The Archdiocese gathered a procession for Stations of the Cross. The procession began at Government Street and finished at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Each Station of the Cross was commemorated at every intersection along the way. "This day is very solemn and important day for all Christians and this procession helped us remember what this day is all about," said Archbishop of Mobile Reverend Thomas Rodi. This is the first year for the Procession and Archbishop Rodi says he hopes to make it an annual event.
