Road Work Begins on Schillinger

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Crews will start widening Schillinger Road South between Cottage Hill Road and Halls Mill Creek Wednesday. The pay-as-you-go project will take about two years to complete. It will cost nearly $10 million to add an additional three lanes, curb and gutter. There will be temporary lane shifts involved, but no road closures. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area.
