Stay Off Roadways in Mobile County

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile County officials are urging residents to stay off roadways while rains continue to fall. There are so many flooded roads in the area, making this a severe flooding situation. Water is even coming from ditches. Crews have been working for hours, getting warning signs out on roadways. Authorities say if you can't see the roadway, don't drive over it, as you cannot be certain if roadways are safe. Crews will be out again in the worst areas of flooding to evaluate the integrity of the roadways.
