Well, it's time again--time for a Salmon Run shift where there's nothing but Grizzco weapons! (YouTube really has a thing for finding an end point for descriptions that looks like it ends there, doesn't it? I'll bet that's part of why few peole read descriptions in-depth too.) Stage: Marooner's Bay Weapons: ?, ?, ?, ? (Rare Weapon: All) As a refresher, the Grizzco weapons are the Grizzco Brella, Grizzco Blaster, Grizzco Charger, and the Grizzco Slosher. I have no idea if there will be any more of them, but the first three are essentially very rapid versions of their weapon type, while the Grizzco Slosher is a much slower variant but will pass through any Salmonids and Salmonid armor. All four share the weakness of wild ink consumption, so you need to watch your ink tank constantly. At least one other occurrence is present in this video that I haven't covered before--one that I hoped I would never have to encounter, because I know it's going to end poorly. It'll happen in the second video, but since you're already reading this description, you know I'll mention it. That, and I think I stuck it on the thumbnail too. Lastly, because this is an all-random set, "Frantic Aspic" plays during normal waves. Match #1 Special Weapon: Inkjet Wave 1: Grizzco Blaster - High tide Wave 2: Grizzco Slosher - Low tide Wave 3: Grizzco Slosher - Medium tide I'm not very good with the Inkjet, but I do know this thing is ace at rescuring your teammates, especially if you're the only one left, as it takes you out of reach of most Salmonids (not Maws, Flyfish, Stingers, or Drizzlers though) while letting you attack far away, reaching your downed teammates who would otherwise be out of reach. Very good when on a very aggressive team like this one. The 7 rescues I did in this match is not my highest, but it does show how the INkjet can bumpt hat up if your team's in trouble. Match #2 Hazard Level MAX!! Special Weapon: Inkjet Wave 1: Grizzco Slosher - High tide Wave 2: Grizzco Charger - Medium tide Wave 3: Grizzco Blaster - Medium tide Well, here it is. The "Hazard Level MAX!!" sign at the beginning of this match, indicating things are going to suck. The first thing you'll see is a very high quota, beginning with 21 Golden Eggs for Wave 1 and only increasing from there. A match with Hazard Level Max!! means that the frequency of which Boss Salmonids appear is at its most frequent, and more will keep spawning until the Switches can load no more. This comes up when the combined Profreshional rank among the four players is 1600 or more (I was at 290 at this point, meaning someone was at a very high rank). It's doable, even without the Grizzco weapons, but it's incredibly tough. Even with the Grizzco weapons. Personally, I feel getting Grizzco weapons causes some people to get overconfident and get themselves splatted more often than they normally would. That being said, I have survived to the end of Wave 3 in every Hazard Level MAX!! run so far...the problem, oddly, seems to be meeting the quota. Methinks some people spent all their time fighting Boss Salmonids without retrieving Golden Eggs, but at the same time, it is possible they often got trapped. Good thing I got the Inkjet again, to escape these situations.
