UPDATE: Mobile Police have named the two people found dead along Delaware Street Friday night as 34-year-old Atteba Nettles and 45-year-old Bryant Washington.

UPDATE 9:35PM MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The person who found a man dead inside his downtown home said she was the slain man's girlfriend.

Because Mobile Police have not released the man's name, Local 15 will not identify the man nor his girlfriend.

She said she found his body around 9 p.m. Friday night at the home on Delaware Street. She said several hours had gone by since she heard from her boyfriend and he was not answering the phone.

When she found him, he had his hands duct taped behind his back and his head was covered with bloody jeans, she said.

"When I started screaming, my children ran to me to see why I was screaming and that's when they [saw] him."

When police got to the scene, they found a second man dead in the backyard.
The woman said she's not exactly sure who the second person was, but claimed her boyfriend did not have enemies.

"If he had something and you asked for it, he would give it to you. He will give you his last," she said.

Anyone with information to help investigators solve the case is urged to call Mobile Police.

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) On Friday at approximately 9:09 p.m. officers responded to the 900 block of Delaware Street for a report of one down inside a residence.  

Officers located a 34-year-old male victim down inside the residence.  

As officers where canvassing the scene they located a second male down in the backyard of the residence.  

Mobile Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced both victims dead.

Investigators are continue the investigation.
