MOBILE Ala. (WPMI) The Jags were back on the practice field Monday morning to get ready for next week's season opener against Kent State University.

Officials say the Jags worked in two team periods during Monday's two hour practice.

Head Coach Joey Jones says the offense didn't execute very well Monday, but he's looking forward to Tuesday.

University of South Alabama will take on the Golden Flashes September 6th.
