UPDATE: 8:44PM: (WPMI) Former Prichard City Council President Earline Martin-Harris has been indicted on perjury charges. Authorities say she testified in Probate Court that she lived in Prichard yet she filled out bankruptcy documents stating she lives in Daphne. 

A Mobile County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Martin-Harris at her Daphne home Thursday evening. 

In October a probate judge ruled Martin-Harris did not live in Prichard.

(WPMI) A Mobile County grand jury indicted former Prichard Council President Earline Martin-Harris Thursday on perjury 1st. 

She was arrested at her Daphne home Thursday evening by a Mobile County Sheriff's Deputy. 

The Mobile County District Attorney's Office says Martin-Harris testified under oath in Probate Court that she lived in Prichard, yet filled out bankruptcy documents claiming to live in Daphne. 

Perjury is a class C felony, punishable up to 10 years in prison.
